Introduction to Civil Appeals
If you do not prevail in your lawsuit, you may be able to appeal the decision to a higher court. The time in which to file an appeal is usually very short. If you think you may want to appeal, contact an appellate lawyer as soon as possible.
We are fortunate to have experienced appellate lawyers who know Michigan appellate procedure and who can assist you in deciding whether to appeal the decision. Our practice is limited to civil appeal, and we do not accept any criminal appeals.
